Elijah Wood can`t wait to get married and have children
The actor is excited about having a family one day, but he is in no rush to tie the knot and have kids, despite turning 31 next January.
He told BANG Showbiz: "Eventually I want to get married and have kids. I don`t have it written down when it`s going to happen for me at the moment though.
"I would love to have a family one day. I`ve got a lot of friends who have families and it`s a time in my life that I look forward to. It`s also the kind of thing where you need to have things in place beforehand."
The Hollywood star - who split up from Gogol Bordello drummer Pamela Racine last year - has spent most of his adult life filming the `Lord of the Rings` films but despite his busy career he always makes time to date.
Elijah - who played Frodo Baggins in the movie trilogy and reprises his role in the upcoming `The Hobbit` films - explained: "I`ve been busy so I`m not in a relationship at the moment, but there`s always time for women."
But Elijah - who voices dancing penguin Mumble in new animated movie `Happy Feet Two` - is more likely to find a possible bride-to-be in a bar rather than a nightclub, because he isn`t keen on visiting such establishments.
He explained: "I`m an OK dancer. I don`t really have a style. I dance to soul and funk music, sometimes I just tap my foot. I don`t really go to clubs, I go to bars."
